It may not be our core business but our office is filled with multi-talented people. Take Harjit, who hails from the Punjab region of India, and has for your delight this delicious recipe for chilli chicken. We hope that you enjoy this recipe, as we always like to inform our family of new and exciting things that we learn and like to share.

Ingredients:
1 kg boneless, skinless chicken (Cut into small pieces)
1 cup oil (Suitable for frying)
3 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
3 medium onions (Chopped)
1 medium green capsicum (Chopped)
3 cloves garlic (Crushed) or 2 Teaspoons garlic paste
Small piece of ginger (Crushed) or 2 Teaspoons ginger paste
2 medium tomatoes (Chopped)
2 teaspoons salt or to taste
½ teaspoon chilli powder or more to taste
½ teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder

Method:
Heat oil in a medium to large pan. Add chicken and cook for 8-10 minutes on medium gas until brown. Remove chicken from pan, placing aside to drain on paper towel. Drain pan of remaining oil and set aside to cool and store for future use.

Add three tablespoons oil to pan. Heat oil for two minutes. Add cumin seeds, crushed garlic, crushed ginger, chopped onions and capsicum to pan. Cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on medium heat. Add chopped tomatoes and cook till tender. Add salt, chilli, coriander and turmeric.

Cook for 3-5 minutes. Return fried chicken to the pan and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.

Now it is ready to serve. Enjoy!
